Finished

My final exhibition

It is 9:37pm, August 31st 2023. Yesterday, I had to give my opinions on the course to the external invigilator. It was a rather long meeting. Next Monday, I have to take the work down from my final exhibition, but for me the course already feels over. Yesterday, felt like the last official day and today I just feel like a husk.

For the last year, I have put everything into completing my Masters degree. Even when I tried to take days off, my mind would feel guilty and I would start to think about what I could do better. I will probably find out my final mark in a few weeks. Officially, we will get our mark on the 28th September but there we should hear about the final unit Mark well before that. I need 67% to get a distinction, 37% to get a Merit, and 7% to get a pass.

When I started the course, I thought I would be lucky to get a Merit, but now, I stand a chance of getting a distinction, I will feel terribly disappointed if I fail to get the 67% I need. Certainly, I have put everything into the final module, and that may be the only solace, if I don’t get a distinction. I know I couldn’t have done any more.

I haven’t kept up with the blog, as well as I had hoped. I had started plenty of posts, but never got around to finishing them. I might revisit them over the next couple of weeks, and start posting them.

I said I will take the month of September off, but I have several things I need to do, over that time. Then in October, I start looking at re-opening my business, and then life starts again.
